MARINA ENERGY SIGNS CONTRACT WITH SENECA NIAGARA FALLS GAMING
FOLSOM, NJ – Marina Energy, building upon its growing reputation as a leading developer of energy-related projects for the casino industry, extended its reach into the Empire State when it signed an agreement with Seneca Niagara Falls Gaming of Niagara Falls, N.Y. Under terms of the $5.6 million contract, Marina, in conjunction with its partner DCO Energy LLC, will provide design and management oversight for a Combined Heat and Power system to be installed as part of a central energy plant that will service Seneca Niagara’s casino hotel and gaming complex which is under construction. The plant will provide heating and cooling and will generate electricity for the facility. Marina will also oversee the purchase of key equipment for the system.
The plant is expected to be operational by June 2005. The 26-story hotel and gaming complex will feature 600 rooms, restaurants, gaming facilities and a full-service spa. Phase I is scheduled for completion in August 2005.
