Charles Biscieglia, chairman of South Jersey Industries (NYSE:SJI),
announced the election of Helen R. Bosley, CFA and Thomas A. Bracken to South
Jersey Energys board of directors.
Bosley is president and co-founder of Corporate Financial Management, Inc. of Yardley, PA, a financial consulting firm, which serves clients that include financial services firms, benefit service providers, health care organizations and government entities.
Bracken is president and CEO of Sun National Bancorp, Inc. of Vineland, NJ, a bank holding company. Sun National Bank serves customers through 73 Community Banking Centers and six Regional Banking Headquarters located in southern and central New Jersey, New Castle County, DE and in Philadelphia, PA.
South Jersey Energys new directors will bring added strength in the areas of banking and finance to its current board of directors as it considers financial and investment matters, said Biscieglia. Helen Bosleys expertise in investment policy, benefits planning, insurance, acquisitions and financial operations will be a strong resource to SJE. Tom Brackens extensive experience in the banking industry will be an extremely valuable asset as well, he added
As a widely recognized leader in the financial community, Bracken is actively involved in numerous business and community organizations in leadership roles as well. His involvement includes serving on the boards of the College of New Jersey, New Jersey Alliance for Action and New Jersey Network. He chairs the Keep New Jersey
Moving Coalition, the Economic Development Corporation of Trenton, and the Finance Committee for the New Jersey Cancer Institute and is vice chair of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of the New Jersey Bankers Association, where he was chairman from 1999 to 2000.
Extremely active in many business and non-profit organizations, Bosley has a leadership role on numerous boards and committees such as Abington Memorial Foundation, FORUM of Executive Women, and Girl Scouts of Southeastern PA. Her many accomplishments include chairing the first successful capital campaign for a Bucks County non-profit agency and initiating internships and mentoring programs for college students interested in financial management careers.
